Visit to INS Hamla

"We are safe because we have our navy keeping us protected each & every moment...
So...Let us celebrate this 73rd Independence Day by saluting all the Navy men & women for their bravery, dedication & patriotism."

Sir J.P.High School's (Aksa) Students & Teachers were invited by INS HAMLA (Malad) on the occasion of 73rd Independence Day.

Indian Navy is a well-structured and disciplined branch, whose chief is called Admiral and President of India is the supreme commander of the Indian Navy. Indian navy has a very nice motto, which say's “Sham No Varna”, which literally means “May the Lord of the Water be auspicious unto us”.

30 Students accompanied by 2 Teachers gave their presence in the event organised by INS Hamla (Malad).
The event began with Flag Hoisting & Parade followed by felicitation of Navy Mens. Speeches delivered by the Navy people created goose bumps among the spectators.
Raksha Bandhan was celebrated, our students tied rakhis to the navy mens.
Photo section was conducted.
Teachers & Students had few words with the Navy people & they shared about their experience, training & on duty procedures.

Our National Flag waving high in the coastal line, mens dressed up in white saluting, honouring & paying respect to our nation instilled patriotism in the viewers.
Our Students & Teachers are fortunate to have the adorning view & Thankful to the Navy for fulfilling their duties & safeguarding our nation.
