Mother Mary of Mount Carmel, Our Patroness:

Mother Mary of Mount Carmel Our school is named after Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Blessed with profound faith in the Almighty, Mother Mary is always a role model to everyone and through her patronage; Carmel initiates her students in the path of wisdom.

St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara, Our founder :

St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara is the founder of CMI Congregation and our School is one among the hundreds of institutions of CMI Congregation. He was the champion in the field of education during his era and he instructs the children through his literary works and some of his advices to them are:

      Good students are the source and real treasure of all nations.

      Good books are their real wealth during periods of academic formation.

      Children, you are God’s gift in the hands of your parents.

      It is the duty of children to look after their parents.

      Food is for the body, so is wisdom for the intellect.

Our Motto

Knowledge and Light – Knowledge is light that takes out darkness of ignorance of all kind from our heart and mind. Our School is aimed at guiding the young minds, who seek knowledge, in the path of enlightenment and thus enabling them to become responsible citizens of the country in the future with a life radiating light.

We aim at carving out a refined being in every child by imparting everything needed for the holistic development of the child based on the Gospel values.

Our mission

The school nurtures the ground for the child to be competent enough for contributing dynamically to the society by inculcating the values and skills in them.

The Management

The school is under the management of the CMI (Carmelites of Mary Immaculate) Fathers of Preshitha Province, Coimbatore. The Congregation was founded by Saint Kuriakose Elias Chavara in 1831 at Mannanam, Kerala and is the first and foremost among the indigenous religious congregations in India.

Our curriculum

The school follows CBSE syllabus. The objective of the curriculum is to expand the horizons of student’s potentialities and make their creative minds to explore the possibilities for innovations. The medium of instruction is English while Tamil and Hindi are taught as the Second and Third language in the curriculum.
