  • Geoff Jones

    Global Head - Adjusting & Marine
    Background and professional experience:
    Geoff has extensive experience handling Energy claims in the London Market, having commenced his professional career at Lloyd's Claims Office in 1981. Subsequent appointments included moving to Equitas and then Zurich Global Energy before joining Catlin in 2006 as Energy Claims Manager.

    Geoff has been closely involved in the handling of Energy offshore, onshore and liability claims, including major claims such as the loss of the Piper Alpha platform, the destruction of the Bombay High North platform and the Macondo blowout. He has also been involved in a number of major claims arising from Hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico all contributing to his extensive experience, Geoff joined Braemar Adjusting as Group Managing Director in 2014.
  • George Mowatt

    Group Technical Director
    Background and professional experience:
    George's experience covers more than 45 years within the Shipbuilding, Classification and global Offshore Oil & Gas Contracting Industry. As a Chartered Engineer George has a first class honours degree in Naval Architecture and a Doctorate in Structural Engineering. George has been involved in many offshore developments at engineering and Project Management level. Since 1990 he has held senior executive management positions within Earl & Wright, Humphries & Glasgow, Kvaerner Oil & Gas and Saipem Energy International.

    George, together with a multi-discipline team of engineers, works with the legal profession to provide Expert Witness and Design/Construction dispute resolution services. George joined Braemar Adjusting in 2003.
  • John Harris

    Managing Director - Asia Pacific
    Background and professional experience:
    Prior to entering the Adjusting profession John had over 13 years experience within the civil engineering and construction industry and as a consequence is very familiar with issues as seen on both sides of the construction contracting fence. John's core professional experience(s) were gained on projects from inception through to completion and final accounts, covering; general onshore construction (mechanical, electrical and civil engineering), in conjunction with onshore petrochemical and nuclear projects.

    As a Chartered Quantity Surveyor (Cost & Contracts Engineer) and Arbitrator, John joined Braemar Adjusting in in 2001, primarily focusing on CAR and Ops property and consequential loss claims. As the Managing Director responsible for Asia, John is involved in all losses handled by the Group across Asia.
  • Pete Krouse

    Managing Director - Americas
    Background and professional experience:
    Pete joined Braemar in 1983. Before joining Braemar, he served as an officer in the US Coast Guard on board vessels and as a Marine Inspector, investigating accidents, conducting damage surveys and inspections on vessels/platforms/drilling units to ensure compliance with US Law. He was also a tugboat Captain and Marine Surveyor.

    Pete has a B.S. degree from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and a J.D. from South Texas College of Law. He is a licensed Master, All-Lines licenced adjuster, current member of the Texas Bar and member of the Maritime Law Association.

    Pete has surveyed, investigated and adjusted platforms, pipelines, vessels and mobile offshore drilling unit claims. Pete is recognised as the leading adjuster in the energy market for claims involving ROVs, seismic streamers and geophysical exploration equipment.
  • Ian McInroy

    Managing Director - Europe & West Africa
    Background and relevant experience:
    Holding a BEng in Manufacturing Science and Engineering, Ian joined Braemar from a leading international insurance broking and consultancy group where his responsibilities included design risk transfer programmes for energy construction projects and advise on the terms and conditions of energy contracts. Ian was also engaged in preparing client submissions to develop permanent carbon capture solutions technology for funding from the Department of Energy and Climate Change.

    During his time with Braemar, Ian has conducted multiple on and offshore surveys in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and has experience in adjusting claims in a variety of fields. Prior to joining Braemar, Ian was responsible for delivering civil engineering and construction projects as a Project Manager.
  • Chris Eades

    Managing Director - MENA
    Background and relevant experience:
    Chris has been engaged in the loss adjusting profession for over 30 years working in a variety of specialist positions managing large and complex claims on a global basis. He has dealt with multimillion dollar cases in the Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Construction & Engineering, Heavy Industries, Mining and Property sectors.

    Since joining Braemar Adjusting in 2010, Chris has managed a significant portfolio of claims in the Middle East, Europe, Africa, Asia and South America involving Platforms, Jack-Up Rigs, Floating Production Storage and Offloading Vessels, Subsea Pipelines and Cables, Mooring Systems, Land Rigs, Refineries, LNG Facilities, Petrochemical Plants , Power Plants and Construction Projects.

    In 2013, Chris transferred to Dubai from our London Head Office to take up the position of Managing Director for Middle East and North Africa (MENA) operations, where he has managed various Offshore and Onshore Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Construction and Property claims, together with Risk Survey and Expert Services.
  • Lisa Zaman

    Operations Manager/Human Resources
    Background and relevant experience:
    Lisa has worked in the Insurance Industry for 16 years and holds a Higher Diploma in Secretarial and Administrative Procedures, a Diploma in Business Administration and is CIPD qualified.

    Having worked as a personal assistant for companies including Marsh and Wellington/Catlin Underwriting until 2008, Lisa then joined Braemar Adjusting in 2009 as the Office Manager, following a round the World trip. Her adaptability, communication and organisation skills along with her experience and knowledge are what have led her to now become the Global Operations/HR Manager for the group.

    Lisa is also secretary to the Lillehammer Conference Organising Committee since 2011.
  • Paul Cameron

    Managing Director - Canadian Operations
    Background and relevant experience:
    In 1990, Paul entered the Insurance industry as a Claims Examiner specializing in liability and commercial property claims. Having obtaining his Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) and Alberta Insurance Council Level Three Adjuster designations in 2002 and working as an Independent Adjuster, Paul joined Braemar in 2009, where he has specialized in liability and property claims arising out of the energy and utility industries.

    In 2012 Paul was appointed as Managing Director of our Calgary office. In conjunction with leading the Braemar Canadian team he has also accepted an appointment to serve on the Appeal Board of the Alberta Insurance Council.
  • Vincent Marrot

    Deputy Managing Director - Americas
    Background and relevant experience:
    Vincent joined Braemar in October 2013 from Marsh, where he was Global Leader for Energy Engineering and Construction Engineering. Based in Houston, his primary role was to oversee all energy related engineering activities worldwide conducted through the Houston, London, Dubai and Singapore energy practice hubs.

    Vincent started his career as a Directional Driller, drilling wells in Europe, Asia, North and South America and has worked as an international Loss Adjuster in London and Houston. He previously worked for AquaTerra Adjusters, Cunningham Lindsey International’s dedicated energy division he set up in 2008, where he was their control of well specialist, Matthews Daniel and Cunningham Lindsey International. He is fully acquainted with both the international and London insurance markets.
